Lori Dawn Salmon, 59 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she attacked and injured a man while at the Floyd County Jail.
Reports said that Salmon grabbed a 31 year-old man by the arm, leaving visible scratches and bleeding.
Salmon is charged with battery.
