A 61 year-old Rome man , Paul Elliott Daniel, is facing felony charges this week after reports said he took methamphetamine into the Floyd County Jail.
Reports said that Daniel was being booked for probation violation when he was found with a bag of meth across the guard line.
Daniel is charged with possession of meth, crossing the guard line with drugs and probation violation.
