An employee of Chili’s in Rome, Geoffrey Scott Bennett, 41 of Cartersville, was arrested this week after reports said he stole a Louis Vuitton purse and its belongings from a customer at the restaurant.
Reports said that Bennett, along with the purse ($1,500) stole Airpods ($100), Sephora make-up ($95), credit cards and $106 in cash.
The purse was later recovered during the execution of a search warrant of his home.
Bennett is charged with felony theft by taking.
