Ishmael Nicholas Guevara, 27 of Calhoun, was arrested this week after he was found with drugs after being pulled over for driving while texting on his cellphone.
Police added that during the stop they also saw a 2 year-old child not restrained.
While taking him into custody officers stated that they found him with two THC vape pens.
Guevara is charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance, seat belt violation and distracted hands free law.
