A former Cartersville youth pastor, Christopher Matthew Codding, 44, has been sentenced to 19 years in prison after pleadeing guilty to molesting two young boys who attended his church, Cassville Baptist Church.
Court records showed that Codding penetrated the anal cavity of two appx 10 year-old boys between 2012 and 2017.
Codding will be sentenced to up to 19 years in prison followed by 60 years of probation. A final prison sentence will be handed down on May 16th.
Codding pled guilty to two counts of felony child molestation and one count of sodomy.

Christopher Matthew Codding, 41 of Kingston, was arrested this week after reports said he molested a young boys.
Police said that between January of 2010 and December 2013 Coddling forcibly performed sodomy by penetrating the boy’s anus.
Acts continued between January of 2014 and 2017.
The alleged acts began when the child was 10 years-old.
Codding is charged with two counts child molestation.
