James Andrew Repasky, 41 and Angela Faith Vann, 33, both of Rome, were arrested at their home on Ferndell Drive after a verbal dispute became physical when he hit his girlfriend in the face with wood.
Reports said that before Repasky hit Vann with his wood she pulled his hair and repeatedly shoved him.
Both are charged with simple battery.
