Alonzo Morris, 28 of Cave Spring, was arrested this week after reports said he stole a Smirnoff beverage from the Cave Spring Market.
Authorities said that when they were called to the scene and attempted to speak to Morris, he ran in an effort to avoid being captured.
The beverage was valued at $3.
Morris is charged with shoplifting and obstruction.
