Jaquarius Cornelius Woodard, 17 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he attempted to murder a 21 year-old man when he shot at him on Reservoir Street back in March.
Reports added that Woodard was detained but was released during the investigation. However, a search of the area later resulted in investigators finding a gun where he had been detained. Bullets matching the shooting were also located inside the gun.
Woodard is charged with aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm by an underage person, and reckless conduct.
