Larry Kenda Harris, 35 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he got into a verbal altercation with his 27 year-old girlfriend, which later became physical.
Authorities stated that Harris shoved and slapped the woman multiple times, leaving visible injuries to her face.
Harris is charged with simple battery.
