Lamar Casario Tiggs, 38 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found with a stolen handgun during a traffic stop on Shorter Avenue.
Reports added that the gun was found during a traffic stop in which Tiggs was found to have been driving while intoxicated.
Tiggs is charged with theft by receiving property, distracted hands free driving violation and DUI.
