Anthony Lamont Curry, 32 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found with crack cocaine and marijuana after running from police.
Reports stated that while serving an arrest warrant at an unspecified location Curry attempted to flee on foot. After a chase Curry was captured and taken into custody.
A search of Curry then resulted in officers finding a large amount of crack cocaine, marijuana and $549 in cash.
Curry is charged with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and obstruction of law enforcement.
