Abbie Bre Roberson, 22, and Makayla Lannya Nixon, 22, both of Rome, were arrested after stealing from Home Depot.
Reports said that Nixon, an employee of the store, voided out a transaction for Roberson, who is her girlfriend, and then allowed her to leave the store with it without paying for it.
The couple deprived the store of $165.63 in merchandise.
Both are charged with theft by deception.
