Lorie Agnes Jane Thacker, 36 of Cedartown, was arrested in Rome after reports said she tried to destroy evidence during a traffic stop by police on Turner McCall Blvd.
Officers said that Thacker was initially stopped for driving without her headlights. However, they added, that while exiting the vehicle she dropped a glass pipe and then tried to destroy it by stepping on it.
When questioned about her actions, Thacker told police that she used the pipe for smoking crack.
Thacker is charged with tampering with evidence, possession of drug related objects and headlight requirements.
