Cartersville Police and Georgia Bureau of Investigation agents arrested two individuals on Wednesday for their involvement in a shooting that occurred the day before in the area of Lee Street.
Arrested were 34-year-old Ronald Michelle Osburn Junior of Cartersville and 23-year-old MaKayla Ann Tanner of Adairsville.
Osburn received a charge of aggravated assault involving the use of a firearm, and Tanner got a charge of hindering the apprehension of a criminal.
Osburn and Tanner were lodged at the Bartow County Jail, awaiting a bond hearing.
Tuesday’s incident is the subject of an ongoing investigation. The Cartersville PD asks anyone with information about this investigation to contact their Criminal Investigative Division at 770-387-5690.

The Cartersville Police Department has launched an investigation into a reported shooting this week in the area of Lee and Walker Streets.
Reports stated that the shots were fired at around 9:48 p.m. Tuesday.
Police said that they found spent shell casings from different caliber firearms but did not locate anyone who had been shot. However, a shooting victim was later transported in a personal vehicle to Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center for treatment.
