Charles Wendell Hicks Jr, 52 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said he attacked three police officers on Maple Road.
Reports said that while being questioned by officers, Hicks allegedly kicked two officers and headbutted another.
He is then accused of refusing to place his hands behind his back while continuing to be physically violent.
During the altercation, Hicks removed an officer’s body cam and slammed it to the ground.
Hicks is charged with interference with government property, felony obstruction and simple battery against a police officer.
