James Jaythan Wright, 20 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said he was found with marijuana.
Police said that they asked Wright if he was in possession of drugs when he reached in his pocket and pulled out the marijuana and gave it to them.
The incident occurred on Nowak Road.
Wright is charged with the possession of marijuana.
