Easton Jake Mathis, 26 of Kingston, was arrested for hitting a truck and then fleeing the scene.
Police said that when they later located Mathis they located an opened container of alcohol in his vehicle and was under the influence of alcohol.
Mathis is charged with DUI, hit and run, failure to maintain lane and open container.
