The Rome Floyd Metro Drug Task Force arrested two individuals, Christopher Jerome Garrett Sr, 52, and Angeline Michelle Thomas-Garrett, 45, both of Silver Creek, during a raid at their 111 Nelson Road home.
Police said that during the execution of a search warrant they located over 28 grams of methamphetamine, digital scales and packaging materials.
Three dogs were also located in cages without water and food while being surrounded by feces.
Both are charged with possession of meth, possession of meth with intent to distribute, trafficking methamphetamine, possession of drug related objects and cruelty to animals.
