Toby Lance Eden, 31 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he stole a saltwater pool system valued at over $2,000 from a home on Old Summerville Road.
Police added that he also stole a pool table valued at around $300. He proceeded to sell the pool table for $220.
Reports said that Eden went to the victim’s home and stole the item after he found out he had passed away.
Eden is charged with felony theft by taking, misd theft by taking and theft by deception.
