Don Cornelius Green, 26 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he attacked a 21 year-old woman while she was holding her two small children.
The victim reported to authorities that Green repeatedly struck her in the face. The victim suffered visible bruising and swelling as the result of the attack
The children’s ages were listed at 6 and 19 months.
The incident occurred at a home on Shorter Avenue.
Green is charged with battery, reckless conduct, two counts cruelty to children and failure to appear.
