Alijah DaSean Thompson, 20 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he broke into numerous cars around Floyd County.
Police said that in March 2023, Thompson broke into vehicles around the Jamestown Community in Lindale, North Terrance Avenue, Brooke Court, Flora Avenu, Van Tassle Drive, and South Central Avenue.
Police said that Thompson stole numerous guns and belongings, such as IDs, debit cards, wallets, sunglasses, and letterman jackets, during the break-ins.
Thompson is charged with twelve counts entering an automobile with the intent to commit a crime, seven felony counts of theft by taking, six counts misd theft by taking, and elven counts possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
