The Sexual Assault Center of Northwest Georgia and Habor House Child Advocacy Center gathered on Friday for a ribbon cutting of a joint center off Water Street in Rockmart.
The center will allow for adult and children who are victim of sexual and physical abuse to receive services such as therapy, medical services and forensic interviews while providing a safe environment by trained professionals.
