Spring is finally in the air and the Euharlee Egg Hunt is back! Local children, ages 10 and under, are welcome to participate in this annual event. This year, the event will take place on Saturday, March 23 from 10am to 4pm in Osborne Park. We are excited to announce that the Euharlee Police Department has partnered with Paynefully Sweet to host this community event.
Euharlee Police Chief Jody Matthews remarked, “Tara Payne contacted the city about hosting her own event in Euharlee and we thought it would be a good idea to join forces to create something even better. She will be bringing vendors and more children’s activities in the Kid Zone. The hunt goes very quickly, so it’s great to expand the event with more things for families to do!”
Vendors and activities will begin in the park at 10am and the actual egg hunt will start at 11am. Admission to this event is free. The hunt is broken into three age groups: ages 0-3, 4-7, and 8-10.
Ms. Payne helps promote community events “to give families a place to go and enjoy themselves.” Payne continues, “I feel like everyone needs to have outings to enjoy family time. Maybe see things that they cannot afford to do elsewhere.”
This year, the event will have various types of vendors, including food vendors and cotton candy. Vendors are still be accepted. Contact Tara Payne for more details.
