Silver Creek Woman Jailed for Trying to Buy over $3K in Items with Counterfeit Money

Tracy Jean Dutton, 53 of Silver Creek, was arrested this week after reports said she attempted to purchase $3,673.07 worth of merchandise from Walmart in East Rome with counterfeit money.

Dutton is charged with 1^st degree forgery and felony theft by shoplifting.
