Christina Gace Vansise, 39 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said she forged a doctor’s note with a Habin Clinic logo for her children at Armuchee Elementary and High Schools.
According to reports, Vansise used the notes to deceive the administration for her children’s truancy issues.
Police added that Vansise wrote 11 excused from Harbin Clinic without their approval for absences between October 4, 2023 and December 12, 2023.
Vansise is charged with two counts first-degree forgery.
