Jason Leon King, 35 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he forged numerous checks over town totaling over $8,000.

King is accused of forging a check for $2,869.96 and cashing it at the Bank of the Ozark on December 12th of last year.

On that same day, King is accused of forging a check for $5,233.30 at Greater Community Bank on Martha Berry Blvd.

King is charged with two counts of forgery.
