Anthony Rashun McCowan, 41 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found with an assortment of drugs after slapping a woman in the face.
The incident occurred at his home on King Street.
Police said that the drug, meth, cocaine and marijuana, was found in McCowan’s possession after arriving at the Floyd County Jail.
McCowan is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug related objects, simple assault and unlawful possession of contraband by an inmate.
