An inmate the Floyd County Jail, Ronald Tj Adams Jr, 34 of Rome, is facing new charges following an altercation inside the jai.
Reports said that Adams is accused of getting into a “physical altercation” with another inmate.
Adams is now additionally charged with felony unlawful acts in a penal institution.
Ronald TJ Adams Jr, 34 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he made online contact of a sexual nature with someone he believed to be under 16 years of age.
Reports said that Adams sent several pictures of an erect penis to the person and asked for nude photos of them in return.
Police went on to say that he asked the child to meet up for sexual acts. Adams was taken into custody at the arranged meeting location.
Adams is charged with aggravated child molestation, sexual exploitation of a child, electronically furnishing obscene materials to a child, use of a computer to solicit a child to commit a felony, obscene internet contact with a child and probation violation.
