Rory Lushon Chatman, 44 of Rome, is facing numerous charges after reports said he took drugs inside the Floyd County Jail after being found to have been driving drunk/high and illegally in possession of a gun.
Reports said that after being stopped on Gordon Avenue they discovered him intoxicated and driving in violation of his license class. Chatman, a convicted felon, was also found with a Ruger LCP .380 pistol
After arriving at the jail, Chatman was found with marijuana in his pocket
Chatman is charged with DUI, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, unlawful possession of drugs by an inmate, driving in violation of a license class and two counts contempt of court.
