Steven Dennis Seay, 37 of Resaca, was arrested this week after reports said he engaged in online conversation of a sexual nature with someone he thought to be under the age of 16 years old.
Reports added that Seay described sex acts while sending numerous photos of his penis to the child. He also asked the child to send him photos of her.
Authorities went on to say that Seay was taken into custody in Rome at an arranged meeting location where they were to engage in sexual relations.
Seay is charged with aggravated child molestation, electronically furnishing obscene materials to a child, use a computer to solicit a child to commit a felony, obscene internet contact with a child and sexually exploitation of a child.
