An inmate at the Floyd County Prison, Durrell Celestor Vaughn, 27 of Newnan, was booked into the Floyd County Jail this week after reports said he was found conspiring with three others to sneak 122.1 grams of marijuana inside the facility.
Reports said that on July 15, 2021, Vaughn and Titus Bryant conspired with LaMiracle Wilson and Calvin Bryant to deliver the drugs to Izerua Dukes and Vaughn at their assigned work detail location.
There the drugs were intercepted by investigators.
Vaughn is charged with attempt to violate Georgia controlled substance act, use of a communication facility in commission of a crime involving a controlled substance, and items prohibited by an inmate.
