Derrick Devon Thomas, 28 of Snellville, was arrested in Rome this week after police said they found him in possession of various drugs.
Reports said that a search of the vehicle during stop on GA 20 at Hine Road resulted in officers finding a bag of suspected cocaine and a pill bottle containing suspected ecstasy pills.
Thomas is charged with possession of cocaine and possession of a schedule I controlled substance.
