Christopher Thomas Hart, 46 of Rome, was arrested this week after he was found driving a vehicle with a stolen license plate.
While being pulled over, Hart is accused of fleeing from officers on foot.  During the chance, Hart crossed the roadway without using a crosswalk temporarily causing traffic problems.
Hart was taken into custody after a 60 yard chase.
Hart is charged with theft by receiving stolen property, two counts obstruction, concealing the identity of a vehicle, operation of an unregistered vehicle, jaywalking, and pedestrian walking on roadway.
