Benjamin Orozco Jimenez, 52 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he provoked his 23 year-old son by kicking in his bedroom door and pulling his hair.
Jimenez then hit the victim in the side of the head which resulted in his ear to bleed.
Jimenez is charged with simple battery.
