Thomas Michael Haney, 66 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said police found a baggie containing suspected methamphetamine in his pocket.
Reports added that Haney was taken into custody at a store located at 1701 Turner McCall Blvd just after midnight on Thursday.
Haney is charged with possession of methamphetamine.
