Bryson Dorrell Moon, 25 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found with over an ounce of marijuana that was packaged for resale.
Officers added that Moon was found in possession of marijuana, digital scales and packaging materials.
He was taken into custody at a location on Perkins Street.
Moon is charged with possession of a Schedule I controlled substance and possession of a Schedule I controlled substance with intent to distribute.
