Steven Joshua Redwine, 32 of Calhoun, was arrested in Rome this week after a traffic stop for him not wearing a seat belt resulted in officers finding methamphetamine.
Police added that they also discovered that he had been driving on a suspended license.
The traffic stop occurred near the intersection on East 19 Street and Dean Avenue.
Redwine is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug related objects, driving on a suspended license, not wearing a seat belt and probation violation.
