Joseph Lamar Hunter, 19 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said he starved his dog named Trixie to the extent she suffered a “serious medical condition”.
Authorities said that Hunter failed to not only provide food, but water and sanitary conditions for the animal.
Hunter is charged with aggravated cruelty to animals.
