Robert Brian Holt, 51 of Silver Creek, was arrested this week after a traffic stop for a broken brake light resulted in police finding a large amount of methamphetamine, marijuana, and a gun.
Police said that after stopping Holt on Highway 411 a K9 officer alerted on the vehicle. A search then resulted in police finding multiple bags of methamphetamine that were packaged for resale and a .380 handgun.
The search also resulted in officers finding a meth pipe with drug residue and hypodermic needles.
Holt allegedly also attempted to run from police on foot. He was captured after a short chase.
Holt is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, obstruction, two counts of possession/distribution of marijuana, possession of drug-related objects, and expiration of a driver’s license.
