Terry Jason Rogers, 49 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he impersonated a police officer by conducting a traffic stop on Ga 1 at Ga 53.
Police said that Rogers turned on bumper lights making the victim think he was a police officer who was conducting a traffic stop. He then proceeded to attempt to pull over at least two other vehicles.
Rogers is charged with impersonating a public officer.
