Rome Police arrested two individuals, Xavier Martinique Lawrence, 31 of Armuchee, and Kevonna Tanisha Perry, 25 of Rome, after they were found racing down Turner McCall Blvd and Riverside Parkway.
Reports said that they were clocked at driving at speeds of over 90 mph.
After finally pulling over, Perry is accused of refusing to comply with officers’ commands to place her hands behind her back.
Lawrence was found with marijuana while being taken into custody.
Lawrence is charged with racing, reckless driving, possession of marijuana and probation violation.
Perry is charged with racing, reckless driving and obstruction.
