Sylvia Ann Sullins 26 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she was found starving three animals while living in the woods behind businesses at 1912 Shorter Avenue.

Police said that they were dispatched to the location where they found Sullins in possession of two puppies and a mother dog.  The puppies were later found to be extremely emaciated with their ribs, spine and pelvis easily visible.  The puppies measured 2/9 while the mother was a 3/9 on the BCS scale.  All the animals were also infested with fleas.

Sullens is charged with aggravated cruelty to animals.
