Kaywon Da-Shawn Ian Gibson, 25 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he beat up his sister during a dispute.
Reports said that the victim was left with visible injuries to her wrist and ankle.
The incident occurred on October 17th at a home on Grady Avenue.
Gibson is charged with battery.
