Anthony Lanell Watkins, 39 of Stone Mountain, was jailed in Rome after reports said he attacked a 38-year-old woman at the Lowes Distribution Center in Floyd County.
Police said that Watkins scratched the victim on the face, leaving visible marks, while preventing her from leaving the scene.
He is then accused of taking the victim’s telephone in an effort to prevent her from calling 911 for help.
Watkins is charged with battery, false imprisonment, and obstruction of a person making a 911 call.
