Dora Alicia Quevedo Hernandez, 28 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she physically attacked police officers while they were attempting to take her into custody for shoplifting at Walmart.
Reports said that Hernandez was allegedly stealing a clock and a flashlight from the West Rome location.
Officers went on to say that Hernandez physically resisted their attempt to detain her.
She is also accused of giving a fake name and date of birth to police.
Hernandez is charged with felony obstruction, criminal trespass, theft by shoplifting, giving false information to police and probation violation.
