Jared Barnard Jett Jr, 30 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he attempted to stab a woman to death at a motel on Martha Berry Highway on October 16th.
On August 19th, he is also accused of intentionally damaging the same victim’s eyeglasses while punching her in the face and head with a closed fist. The victim suffered swelling and cuts to her nose and right eye.
Jett is charged with aggravated assault, battery, simple battery, terroristic threats and criminal trespass.
