Nathan Tyrone Wright, 46 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said helped another person destroy police evidence.
Police said that Wright was in the backseat of a vehicle with another man who was swallowing methamphetamine during a traffic stop by police.
Authorities added that Wright acted as a lookout that helped the man swallow the evidence.
Wright is charged with felony tampering with evidence.
