Antonio Terrell Kidd, 43 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said he assaulted a 47 year-old woman with a book.
The victim said that Kidd threw the book at the woman and hit her on the back.
Kidd then aggressively approached the victim while holding a stick, placing her in fear of her safety.
Kidd is charged with simple battery and simple assault.
