Jaylon Malik Hoskins, 23 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he hit a 23 year-old woman in the face with a closed fist at an apartment on Tamassee Lane.
Reports said that the victim was left with visible injuries.
Hoskins is charged with battery.
