Donnie Wayne Phillips, 63 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he engaged in sexual conversations with someone he thought to be a child under the age of 16 years-old.
Reports added that after graphic conversations with the “child”, Phillips arranged a meeting with them in order to perform sexual acts.
He was taken into custody at the arranged meeting location.
Phillips is charged with aggravated child molestation, use of a computer to solicit a child to commit a felony and obscene internet contact with a minor.
